University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoaʻs Graduate Division

The Graduate Division has overall responsibility for all aspects of graduate education at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM). The Graduate Division oversees the following:

development, implementation and assessment of graduate programs;
appointment and evaluation of graduate chairs and faculty; and
admission and guidance of graduate students from matriculation through graduation.

International Student Services

The Office of International Student Services (ISS) strives to support international student success through the following endeavors:

Advising students on immigration regulations that affect their status in the U.S.
Providing programs that help promote cross-cultural adjustment
Serving as a resource to the campus and international student communities
Advocating for international students and international education

Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) Graduate Student Organization (GSO) at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa – A Registered Independent Organization (RIO) that serves graduate students within our department by providing opportunities to make social and professional connections, representing graduate student interests, and facilitating access to funding, the GSO hosts regular pau hana (happy hours) for graduate students, faculty, and staff.
Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences (TPSS) Graduate Student Organization (GSO) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa – A RIO to engender a community between TPSS students and faculty through its mission of providing educational and professional resources, opportunities, networking, and advocacy within and beyond our department.

Graduate Student Organization (GSO)

This is a campus level student organization and has representatives from departments throughout UH Mānoa. It’s kuleana is to serve, advocate for, and support graduate students at UH Mānoa; foster communist engagement; facilitate positive change; and encourage a Hawaiian place of learning.
