UH Mānoa Graduate Division

University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoaʻs Graduate Division

The Graduate Division has overall responsibility for all aspects of graduate education at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM). The Graduate Division oversees the following:

  • development, implementation and assessment of graduate programs;
  • appointment and evaluation of graduate chairs and faculty; and
  • admission and guidance of graduate students from matriculation through graduation.

International Student Services

The Office of International Student Services (ISS) strives to support international student success through the following endeavors:

  • Advising students on immigration regulations that affect their status in the U.S.
  • Providing programs that help promote cross-cultural adjustment
  • Serving as a resource to the campus and international student communities
  • Advocating for international students and international education

This is a campus level student organization and has representatives from departments throughout UH Mānoa.  It’s kuleana is to serve, advocate for, and support graduate students at UH Mānoa; foster communist engagement; facilitate positive change; and encourage a Hawaiian place of learning.
